What is worship like?
Our worship is bold, inclusive, transforming. Worship at Sunnyside is not traditional church, nor is it contemporary. Our hope is that it is always authentic. -Authentic to all who are part of God's Kingdom. Worship at Sunnyside is an opportunity to engage those in our community to experience church in a new way. Sinners and saints, all are welcome. Rich and poor, all are invited. Black, white and every color in between are sought. God has made us in many ways. We seek to reflect the diversity that is present in our neighborhood to intentionally build a community reflective of God's light in the world.
In worship we come together as a community with Christ in our center. Christ calls us, feeds us, and then sends us back into the world to share the love and community experienced in worship. We are constantly seeking new ways to experience God and to know one another. All are invited to join us because Jesus gives the invitation, and Jesus excludes no one.
